About me
I’m a researcher, data analyst, statistician, and psychometrician with over 20 years of experience using data to inform decision-making and improve outcomes in the K-12 public education, nonprofit, and now healthcare sectors.
Equally as important, I’m a skilled communicator and educator who loves to educate and mentor my colleagues in research design, statistics, and data management, interpretation, and presentation. I demystify complex data concepts for non-technical audiences.
I’m strongly committed to valid data, evidence-based practice, equitable outcomes, and empowering others.
I work primarily in Excel, SQL, R, Tableau, and Power BI, and am always striving to learn new methods, statistics, tools, and technologies to solve my employers’ or clients’ practical problems.
My background is social science. I hold two degrees in sociology and a doctorate in psychometrics. I also have recent continuing education certificates in AI and Data Science.
As Senior Clinical Data Analyst for the Department of Pharmacy of Providence Swedish Medical Center in the Puget Sound area, I currently support clinical pharmacists and residents with data analytics. I provide data extraction, statistical analysis, and visualization services for quality improvement, medicine utilization, and clinical research projects.
