About me

I’m a researcher, data analyst, statistician, and psychometrician with over 25 years of experience using data to inform decisionmaking and improve outcomes in the K-12 public education, nonprofit, and now healthcare sectors.

I’m a communicator and educator who loves to educate and mentor my colleagues in research design, statistics, and data management, interpretation, and presentation. I try to demystify complex data concepts for non-technical audiences.

I’m committed to valid data, evidence-based practice, equitable outcomes, and empowering others to use data more skillfully and effectively.

I work primarily in Excel, SQL, R, Tableau, and Power BI, and am always learning new methods, statistics, tools, and technologies.

My background is social science. I hold two degrees in sociology and a doctorate in psychometrics. I also have recent continuing education certificates in AI and Data Science.

As Senior Clinical Data Analyst for the Department of Pharmacy of Providence Swedish Medical Center in the Puget Sound area, I currently support clinical pharmacists and residents with data analytics. I provide data extraction, statistical analysis, and visualization services for quality improvement, medicine utilization, and clinical research projects.
